1 year annivesary....May 17th, 2012


I didn't realise yesterday is 1 year anniverssary of this blog... time flies.... revamping my blog to give a new look and feel... Moving forward this blog will have various topics not only contain to recipe and travel...  And I will be writing in my national language, Malay or mixture....

Happy 1 year anniverssary!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 

Hoping god will give me more strength and ideas to keep on writing.....

Kam Heong chicken

Tried this recipe few weeks ago based on the recipe I found in the web... Nice flavour and smell... Here is the recipe;


For Chicken

Ingredients;

Chicken
White egg
Soy sauce
Salt
Pepper
Cornstarch

Preparations:

Marinate the chicken with white egg, soy sauce, salt, and pepper for a while at least an hour. Then, stir with cornstarch and fry it until golden brown.

Dry the chicken with kicthen towel.

For the sauce:

Garlic - chopped
Shallots – cut into chunks
Curry leaves
Dried shrimps – soak and finely chopped
Birds eye chilies, roughly chopped
Curry powder
Oyster sauce
Light soy sauce
Dark soy sauce
Water
sugar and salt to taste

Preparations;

1) Heat oil in a pan, and saute garlic and shallots until fragrant.
2) Add dried shrimps, bird eye chillies and curry powder - stir fry and then add curry leaves. Stir fry till fragrant
3) Add in the seasoning Oyster sauce, light and dark soy sauce and water. Simmer for few second.
4) Add sugar and salt to taste
5) Toss in chicken and mix until combine
6) Ready to serve
