Today itinerary will be Korea House, Namsangol Hanok Village, Namsan Park, Namdaemun and Itaewon.... We took subway to Chungmuro Station at Line 3/4... Arrived at Chugmuro station take exit 2 and we were heading to Korea house and Namsangol Hanok Village.. it is within walking distance from Chungmuro station....

Nothing much to see at Korea House... This is a traditional Korean cuisine restaurant.. just like our Seri Melayu Restaurant... If you can a taste a cuisine that shown in Dae Jang Geum TV series here....Then we headed to Namsangol Hanok Village which also walking distance from Korea House.... very near...It is a  mini folk village consisting a number of traditional Korean-style houses. Also known as "A Village of Traditional House at the Namsan Valley". In this area you can experience the wide cross-section of Joseon era citizenry and activities. But we didn't take part in any of the activities....just enjoyed the scenery of cherry blossom and the stream.... and pavillion... this is a complete traditional korean style garden....

We then headed to Namsan Park at Namsan Mountain...There are few ways to go to Namsan Park... since we were at Chungmuro Station... took yellow bus no 2 straight to Namsan Tower... The bus is not yellow.... more like green bus.... Whatever... at least we catched the correct bus.... if you want to save budget... you can take the yellow bus... alternatively can go by cable car which cost KRW4000 for single trip and KRW3000 round trip... for bus it is only KRW700....

Bus is the best way to get to know local people... They are very friendly but it can be quite uncomfortable especially if you are wearing scarf or "tudung"....Finally we arrived at the tower... beautiful scenary... 1st thing we did... of course photo session.... have to walk around 500 meters to reach the peak.... don't ever wear high heel okay....the mountain is quite steep in certain area....if you want to snap the stairways, the final ending scene of My Lovely Samson... you have to use your 2 legs to go there.... quite high though.... And if you want to experience the Boys Over Flower scene... use the cable car.... he he he....
Locks of Love
Group picture

There are few attractions here....one of it is the Locks of Love...where you can see a lot of locks attached to the fences done by couples surrounding the area... They written their promise and wish their love will last forever by throwing the keys.... Then, you can visit one of famous Teddy Bear museum... The other two are in Jeju and Paju Heiri....The filming scene of Teddy Bear museum in Goong (Princess Hour) was done at Jeju Teddy Bear Museum.... We were like kids.....I want to bring the bear back to Malaysia.... I want one.... hu hu hu....
Teddy Bear Museum

Next attraction is the observatory.... The lift to the observatory only takes about 2 minutes (can't remember exactly).... there is space show at the ceiling... felt that we were in the spaceship....with the music and the ambience....By the way the admission fees for museum and observatory is KRW12,000. KRW8000 for museum only.... The best choice is to go for both.... You have to enter the museum first before going to the observatory....

Seoul from Namsan Tower

If you are lucky there will be a  cultural show infront of the pavillion....

Next will be Namdaemun and Itaewon.... We took the same yellow bus... but now bus no 5.. This bus will bring us to Namdaemun and Itaewon..... Since most of us didn't want to go to Namdaemun, we went straight to Itaewon for our late lunch....

Namdaemun is a large traditional market....oldest community running market and the largest retail market in Seoul... If you want to buy women accessories, clothes, carpet, flowers and many more... this is the place with affordable price...This place close every sunday... and runs almost 24 hours..
Halal restaurant at Itaewon

Had our lunch at Dubai Restaurant at Itaewon... price wise.... quite expensive....Be ready to spend around RM30-RM50 per person here...Can find a lot of Moslem and halal restaurant here.... If you want to buy souvenir.... or bags... (eel skin)... certain shop you can bargain... normal shoplah... you can bargain.... I bought few pairs of Crocs, for my nephews and niece, for my farther and of course for myself.... The price was very cheap... compared to Malaysia... even before discount.... the price was still cheap....

Went back to hotel with a big smile....
